About Me
I’m Roberto, and I’m running for Schaumburg Township Trustee!
I was fortunate to grow up in a special time and place. Like so many growing up in Chicago’s northwest suburbs in the 1990s and 2000s, I remember a time feeling secure in our community while feeling optimistic about our future. Yet the policies of the past quarter-century have not fulfilled the promises of this millennium—and I feel a calling to live up to our potential.
I grew up in the villages of Schaumburg and Hoffman Estates, Illinois. I attended Districts 54 and 211 schools and joined the Boy Scouts of America, even attaining the rank of Eagle Scout. I currently attend the same church that my family has attended for 20 years.
After high school I earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from DePaul University and a master’s degree in higher and postsecondary education from Columbia University. Professionally, I am a college administrator whose career can be defined by supporting young people’s successes.
No matter what age, we all deserve better. Join me to make our township appealing and affordable for generations to come!
